I passed!!!! 3.3 combined gpa from 7 classes!!! So excited! This first quarter was so stressful and crazy figuring out how all of this works but I did it! Thank you everyone for all of your support and well wishes and not to be dramatic but I really need that and truly appreciate it!! I feel so much better going into next quarter (which is supposed to be one of the hardest quarters). 1 quarter down, 6 more to go! woooooweeeeeee!

Tis the Season!

We had so much fun going to see Santa! I can't believe that Mason went right up to Santa and told him he wanted a scuba diver mask. It was so cute! Then he did his cheesy grin while saying "cheeseburger" when we told him to smile. We totally lucked out this year, we opted to go see Santa on a Thursday morning @ 9am and were 2nd in line! Score!! (we go to the downtown Nordstrom Santa- the first year we waited 3 hrs in line!) Can't wait for all the Holiday festivities!

Thanksgiving 2010

We had such a great Thanksgiving this year!! And the food this year was the BEST!! I was upgraded from bringing the dinner rolls to making sweet potatoe casserole (recipee courtesy of The Wall's). Needless to say they were the hit! (sorry mom). So happy to come home for the holiday and Mason spent the rest of the weekend with daddy so mommy could study for finals. Thank you auntie Cathy & Uncle Jim for hosting such a great Thanksgiving!!

Let it snow!!

We got so much snow in Port Angeles right before Thanksgiving!! Mason LOVED it!! I loved it too since it meant we got an entire week off for Thanksgiving break! This is when I really miss my SUV though because my car is rear wheel drive and since we had almost 14 inches, I couldn't even get it out of the driveway! Uncle Jim came to the rescue and drove all the way from Bonney Lake to pick us up so that we could come home for Thanksgiving- can you say Uncle of the Year?!

well i'm already more than half way done with fall quarter!! it's crazy- i feel like i am always ten steps behind and barely hanging on- but i'm surviving and passing all of my classes so far! i just finished the last of my 7 midterms! and right around the corner will be 7 finals! yikes! lucky for me i have the best classmates! now only 6 more quarters to go....

halloween monkey business

we had a lot of fun this halloween!! we went to a pumpkin patch up here in PA (not as cool as marris farms or spooners but still really fun!) and mase got to see pigs and chickens and bunnies. he picked his pumpkin out immediately and we opted to "color" instead of carve it.... i'll save that task for next year. daddy got mase a sweet monkey costume which fit him perfectly! we were able to stick around on halloween and go trick or treating with mason's cousins- sydney and piper and alexander over in yarrow's point. they were all so cute and mase tried to break into almost every house and invite himself in. fun was had by all!

right before mason and i made the move to port angeles we had some family pics taken! my friend emily reccomended a great photographer, jocelyn. her site is http://www.jocelynkbrownphotography.com/ i love the look of her photos. she really captures moments and is never really posed. mason was being a typical 2-year-old and not cooperating AT ALL so i am so so so happy that the pics turned out the way they did! and that jocelyn was able to capture some of mason's personality! enjoy!

MOVING DAY!!!

HOLY COW!!! We are officially off to Port Angeles!!! Thank you to everyone who helped today and for Jeff and my Dad for trucking everything over on Monday!!! Love you guys! Can't wait to get settled in!!!!

Yesterday (9/8/2010) was not only my older sissy's birthday- HAPPY 25th BIRTHDAY CARE-BEAR wink, wink..... but it was also family photo shoot!!
An amazing photogropher, jocelyn brown, met us in Kirkland for some "urban feel" photos.
Ummm.... too bad Mase was naughty & not cooperating At. ALL. Oh well... I'm sure they are wonderful and at the very least we will have captured Mason's "true" 2-year-old personality!!

It's Happening!!!!

OMG FINALLY!!! Mase and I have a place to call home for the next 2 years!!! (Well 1 at the least since that's how long my lease is). It's not my original "nice, clean, ok" place, but it's in the same complex and it will definetely do!!! So excited to get this party started and scared #*!@-less at the same time!! I will post pics... probable of the move-in next week!! yippeeee!!!!
I can't believe orientation starts next week and the official start of school is Sept. 22nd!!! Wooo weee!!! Let the adventure begin!!

Last Day of Summer??

Last Wed we went to hang out at the lake with one of my besties Jill. So much fun lounging, eating, and Jill was so awesome to swim with Mase!! He is now obsessed with auntie Jill!! They say that summer weather might officially be over... so so so sad!
